Meera Mahotsav: Every year on Meera Bai's birth day, Sharad Poornima, the city is decked up in magnificent colors and atmosphere as Puja, talks, dances, and fireworks take place, and many prominent musicians and singers gather to perform bhajans.

Jauhar Mela: The event is thought to commemorate Rani Padmini's Jauhar, the most well-known of the three Jauhars that occurred in Chittorgarh. On this day, a large number of Rajputs, including descendants of most of the royal houses, march in a parade to commemorate the sacrificial Jauhar.
